Kick Ranch Overland Sauvignon Blanc 2014

90 points, Wine Advocate. “The wine exhibits loads of exotic melon fruit, tropical orange marmalade notes, a medium body, terrific texture (more like a Chardonnay) and a long, dry, zesty finish. This is a super-duper Sauvignon Blanc to drink over the next several years.” Robert Parker.

Kick Ranch was first planted in 2000, on Sonoma/California land first settled by pioneers in 1854. Growers Dick Keenan and Kathy McNamara sold grapes to many well-known local wineries, and decided to release their own wine in 2010, which became the Overland label.

Overland/Kick Ranch strives to grow premium grapes for a select group of winemakers, whose wines are defined by effort, promise and optimism, like Kick Ranch itself.
