Domaine du Haut Banchereau is situated in the heart of the Muscadet (France). A family business since 1870, they are a small, 30-acre estate in the prestigious Muscadet Sevre et Maine appellation on the east slopes of the Sevre Nantaise river.

After fermentation, this wine is left on the dead yeast cells – the “lees” until the April after harvest (sur lie). This adds a creamy complexity to the wine and makes it smoother.
