Compañía de Vinos TRICÓ white

$22.99 (PA tax not included)

90 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
This wine is not your typical, lean, acidic Albariño from Spain. Much more complex and creamy, with some honeyed notes and even herbaceous characters in the glass. It’s something unique, worth splurging a little on, and it even shows the potential to age for a few years.

Tricó is the Gallego (Spain) word for a child who is born well after his or her brothers and sisters. José Antonio López named this wine after his last son, who arrived as a “blessing” well after José Antonio and his wife thought they were through having children. José Antonio is one of the winemakers who are leading a quality revolution in the Rias Baixas.
