Double-Gold, New York Wine & Food Classic. Riesling is king in the Finger Lakes. This noble grape is the Finger Lakes most widely planted Vinifera variety with nearly 1000 acres in production and almost every winery produces at least one Riesling brand. The microclimate conditions and the slate soils that are so special to the Finger Lakes are exactly what make Riesling thrive here.

Located in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country, Fox Run overlooks one of the deepest parts of Seneca Lake, with fifty acres of vineyards producing a remarkable range of fine wines. The first grapes were planted in 1984 and the Civil War-era dairy barn was converted to a modern wine-making facility in 1990.

At Fox Run Vineyards, our goal is to provide visitors with one of the best winery experiences in the region. Our belief is that this experience encompasses not only the quality of our wines and beauty of our vineyard and tasting room, but also an educational opportunity presented to all visitors and the quality of service provided during each and every visit.
