David and Cindy Lawson’s winemaking philosophy has always been simple: starting with great grapes diminishes the need to intervene and allows the varietal to speak authentically for itself. Since our founding in 2002, our dedication to quality and attention to detail has been evident in all 14 vintages we’ve been privileged to produce.
Our success is dependent on only a few things: great vineyard partnerships, an unwavering passion and desire to be the best, and the daily hard work of the Covington Cellars team. Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese are our flagship varietals; and our goal will always be to make the most delicious examples of those wines in the state of Washington.
