The Collavini story began in 1896 with Founder Eugenio Collavini. For over 120 years and through four generations, the family has perfected the art of making Italian wine. The wine is now made in the Castello Zucco-Cuccanea in Corno di Rosazzo, a castle built in 1560.
From innovating new ways to make Pinot Grigio, to creating a trend-setting sparkling wine, to reviving the near-extinct grape Ribolla Galla, Collavini has dedicated their lives to making unique Italian wines that capture the Friuli region. The grapes and climate in this far northeastern region, practically in Central Europe, make for a style that is unlike any other part of Italy.
